The first shipment of 4 × 40’ OT, 10 × 40’ GP and 4 × 40’ HQ (total 256 tons, 990 cbm) featured equipment for a tread extrusion line heading to Charleston, USA. As per the client’s request, TEL successfully shipped all cargo in one lot at the end of month, which is the peak period of vessel space, and promptly finished booking, transport, customs clearance and loading within ten days of when the order was received.

The second shipment to Chittagong included cable machinery (1 × 40’ OT, 3 × 40’ HQ and 1 × 20’ GP) which was also packaged and shipped by TEL.

TEL has its own packaging subsidiary, TOPAC, which provides complete industrial packaging solutions – from assessment and design to the packaging completed at the client’s factory. This innovative combination of packaging and logistics reduced container quantities and is estimated to save 15% in costs for the whole process.
